As a photographer I've found the computer to be a very powerful and seductive force for creating images. I start my image-making by searching through my contact sheets or slides. Sometimes I don't have a plan, I just start working: scanning images from all kinds of resources and merging them together. I feel much more fluid using the computer to create, then I do with the camera. But the force behind all of my image making is my camera work.
