The subject of my work is memory, both the specific memory at hand, as well as the process of remembering. I select subjects that seem important to remember and invoke either a previsualized or post- visualized creative process to metaphor the act of remembering and meaning. Because of this dual approach to creativity, the style of my work may appear traditionally purist on the one hand and then contemporarily heterodoxal on the other.
The subjects are sometimes treated as one of a kind objects and/or as an edition of many. This duality of process and identity reflects the current state of the contemporary imagist.
