This is Yu Deng's website. Here, you can get all the information related to my current project: Multimedia Annotation Tool which will be used in semantic web research as well as linguistic ontology development.

Multimedia*, which is human-computer interaction, involving text, graphics, voice and video (www.hyperdictionary.com), is becoming wildly used resources. The purpose of multimedia annotation is transforming machine un-understandable information into machine understandable textual information in order to supporting further queries, retrieving and accessing useful multimedia information.

Multimedia data provides more channels and dimensions to describe a language's visual and aural aspects, and gives a better presentation of the cultural system associated with the community of that language. However, it imposes a challenge to documents indexing and retrieval since mjultimedia data is highly instructured and the semantics is implicit in its content.
