Note:This document was written by me in the Summer of '92 when I was working for IBM as a systems engineer/consultant for the Ford Credit account. It was intended for people supporting a large client/server known as COMPASS. One inherent problem I saw in my job of transferring my OS/2 specific skills to the Ford folks was that some of these people could not understand what I was talking about because they did not have the underlying knowledge that I had taken for granted with my background in Computer Science. So, in an attempt to do this and to summarize some of the things that I learned, I started work on this document. Needless to say, I did not finish this ambitious project as the scope of the subject matter got way too broad. But, there is a lot of interesting information that hopefully someone can find useful...
Fundamentals of Hardware Organization
Fundamentals of Operating Systems
Overview of the OS/2 Operating System
