Chi, or Saint Andrew's Cross

X (Chi) is the first letter of the Creek word for Christ. It became one of the early symbols of the presence of Christ. It is also called Saint Andrew's Cross because Andrew is said to have requested that he be crucified on this form of cross because he felt unworthy to be immolated on the Roman-type cross on which Jesus was crucified.
