Lamb and Cross
The interpretation of Jesus as the Lamb of God is given by John the Baptist, "Behold the Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29) The cross reminds us that by his crucifixion Jesus
became the sacrificial lamb "taking away the sin of the world. " Revelation 22:1-5 depicts the Lamb of
God sitting upon a throne from which flow the waters of life.
