Flowers
Flowers are attractive symbols of God's beauty, God's bountiful favor and of fulfillment at the peak of
perfection. Jesus himself said (Matthew 6:28-29), "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they
neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. "
Isaiah proclaims the blossoming of flowers as the sign of God's favor (35:12), '"The wilderness and the
dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing."
